Noticed a few people on vent this weekend wondering if their increased lockpick drops was an actual bonus event going on or something. Well, interesting news for you...

Someone noticed they were getting 500 points of retain points instead of the standard 250. Apparently this weekend was originally planned to be a Double Lockpick/Lucky/Unlucky Weekend, and when ANet decided to put in the week-long Wintersday Redux as a make-up event, they just added the Wintersday stuff over the weekend's originally-planned double bonuses (but didn't mention the original plans at all, in true, discombobulated ANet fashion).

Moot point now, as the weekend is over. Interesting, to say the least. Unfortunate for whoever needed to work on their Lucky/Unlucky titles though!

./doh if only we had the heads up on saturday... meh PR is bad, may not of been what people wanted with Gaile but it sure was a heck of a lot better back then than now. I dont care what they are doing behind the seens. PR should always be important. (besides guru, cuz I never been much of a guru peep. --- ah wishing RPGStars was still up.)
