Tyria Caravan VQ - The BIG One!

As we kick off our new guild, several people have shown interest in making a big splash together before we start digging in and getting our guild feet wet, so to speak. Sooooooo, we're doing a full ToA to Ascalon City vanquish starting Sat. Feb 6th at 10 am EST. I believe there are 19 or 20 zones and I'm currently working on getting 30-35 consets to make it easier and faster.

Things to know:
-Cons will be up constantly!
-There will be several breaks
-I will have Mercantile summoning stones for each zone as necessary (I think I have 60+ of those things)
-We start in ToA so that we can have a full 8 man party all the way through the Ascalon areas
-If the party structure allows, we might split up on the 4 man zones to make those faster.
-Self cons would be recommended.
-Will be fun for all!

Sign up below with your IGN and which class you're bringing.

Please only sign up if you're going to dedicate yourself to do the entire run.

The point of the caravan is to make sure that all 8 party members are there in the 4 man zones.

LIVE UPDATES

7 zones down, now the easy part. 6 & 4 man zones. I think we're right at about 3 hrs now. making really good time.

9 down. this is getting easier and easier. Can't wait til the ascalon areas. Vanguard title FTW

11 down. 6 hrs and 1 minute. Link is getting on everyone's nerves. "Are we done yet?" jk Still going really well. Next is the hell zone. 300+ foes. ewwww

18 zones completed. 12 hours. 19 would have been done if not for a specific quest that made everything like "Armageddon" down there. All in all, a VERY successful run and fun was had by all. missing out on 1 zone does not make this a failure.

Think this is kind of a requirement. But we'll save a spot for you if you are on. Keep in mind, this is a LONG vanquish so if you're sneaking on, not a good idea to come.

I did about 9 hours with consets constantly up from Toa To Ascalon ... Approx 30-45 mins of breaks with 1 ele ( me ) , 1 sin and 6 heroes.

They got all but one of the zones VQ'ed but someone had the Titan sub-quest in Eastern Frontier, which they were unprepared for. Didn't meet all of their goals, but I guess it was better than getting none of the zones done at all. Smile

It was a good run I had fun. At least until the end when I started passing out on my desk. Thanks SO Much for letting me leech the last few zones.

At the time?! not so LOL. We were all tired, frustrated, and ready to get that over with.

NOW?! Funny as hell. The last zone? Oh well. could have happened to any of us, and could have been something right in the middle of the vanquish. That would have ruined the whole thing and we wouldn't have gotten nearly as far. All in all, it went really well.

We split up in Diessa Lowlands and cut 330+ foes in half. Finished that zone in less than an hour of actual fight time (1 hr 1 min but started with a 10-15 minute break.)

Just wanted to say thanks to those who participated, actually in the vanquish or just making it go more smoothly, talking to us on vent etc.
It was fun (until 3AM) but I'd sure as hell never do it again Razz
