Red, just to let you know, I moved your contest thread to our Contests forum. Also gave it a catchy name and started to organize the main post (number list has been put in). I plan on adding all the names to the number list as soon as I get the time. It will probably be another day or so before I can get around to it. Red is taking a break from the game so he can focus on school and other out-of-life things. He's having a drawing to give away all kinds of stuff before he departs. It's going to be lottery, /roll 100-style, like our normal Jackpot contests are. For this particular drawing, everybody can have a max of ONE number and it is FREE TO ENTER for guild members.

According to Red, the drawing for his Going-Away Giveaway will be held on Sunday, August 30th, 2009. Many people have already thrown their names into the hat. After hearing alot of arguments over this "contest" I must state the following :
Ectos will not be responsible for any guild members "giveaways".
These Forums will not be used for player contests ever again.
The only contests to be posted on these Forums will be GUILD ORGANIZED not individual based.

Alrighty then, is it just me, or did anyone else believe this to be a "Winner Take All" contest? I don't think i even signed up for this thing, but remembering when i looked at the post, it was winner take all i believe. Then the rules changed and nothing was really said about it, maybe posted, but who ever looks back at it? I picked my numbers for the Ecto's jackpot then left it alone until contest day. Red, I think you took a lot of people by surprise on this one. Anyone else on the same page with me here???

I read what was said when he first put it up and he said there would be multiple winners from the beginning. I was never under the assumption that it was a winner take all. I thought that was the ectos drawing that was supposed to be winner take all. XD
