| Guild Wars Ultimate Fighter
1v1 PvP match.
I was thinking a 1K entry fee. 1st – 60% 2nd – 30% 3rd – 10%
Rules: 1. This is a 1v1 match.
2. No Armor
3. The only weapon allowed is Brass Knuckles. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Brass_Knuckles
4. Only allowed to use Touch and Shout skills. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_of_touch_skills http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_of_shouts
5. A Judge/Referee will join each person into the fight. All build/weapons will be pinged before the GvG timer ends, and the fight starts. Anyone with illegal skills forfeits the game. (The Judge/Referee cannot help in the match.)
*Note: This may need to be tested. I am sure that Rangers have a small advantage with Expertise. The entry fee may need to be adjusted. I am sure that more rules would need to be added after testing/comments.
This is just a idea I had months ago. Wanted to try it out with my old guild but never did.

| The only reason I put a entry fee was to have a prize. Not really needed. Not a bad idea with Prof v Prof. I would like to see how well each prof. fights each other before we make it Prof v Prof. |

| you are thinking too hard about this. its for fun. prof vs prof for actual contest sure, but for practice/ fun stuff... to BS on maybe a down day or no farm day aka not enough ppl want to do a run... -shrug- just think it would be fun. |

| OK, would this work. No armor (everyone starts out with 480hp and 20 energy, unless you have a +5 mod on weapon the 25) All attributes set to zero Armor boost shouts not allowed
This way everyone hits for the same amount. Now it is all about what touch and shout skills you bring.
I know it is a lost cause to even worry about this, no one seems interested. |

| im thinking we keep it all in one profession. make a pvp char thats a sin or ranger or warrior or something. but have them all b the same profession
side thought
make a set bar that everyone runs? just a thought |

| Just enter the battle with no armor on...seems easy enough to me. |

| Keep the weapons only to the brass knuckles if that's the effect you're going for, either that or simply no weapons at all.
I'm not fond of the idea of limiting which shout/touch skills one can use. it's already limited by saying ONLY use shout/touch skills.
With no armor it's up to the individual players to decide what kind of bar they want to run. |

| If you go no weapon at all you will be standing waiting on skills to recharge. With the knuckles you are still dealing a really small amount of damage.
A set bar would be boring. The touch skills are ranged were not one is really all that better. The Necro may have the best, but @ 0 it should be small damage. |

| With attributes set to zero it would take a long while to kill anything...you can set your own bar, with attributes? |

To killian, I agree with that though I think the majority of damage would be done by skills anyways.
And to Sentry I think the fun part WOULD be deciding your own bar. It's like the Real UFC: some people are good at the stand-up boxing while some people are better at their ground game. People pick what THEY think will win. Any profession doesn't matter. That's why I said take ALL armor off that way Warriors don't have an AL advantage over a Necro. |

| I changed the rules to no armor. Builds and attributes are set as wanted. This weekend I would like to just test this and see how it works. |

Would Thunderfist's Brass Knuckles be usable? Because those are the only Knuckles you can actually mod.
EDIT: Inscribe at least, only ones you can inscribe. |

| That is the pair I was talking about, sorry I did not use the right name. Changing it now. But..
When I made this I did not even think about the reg. Brass Knuckles that do 5-5. All I had on me was the Thunderfist Brass Knuckles. Would it be better to have everyone equal with 5-5 no req. and no mods knuckles, they are easy to get. |

| Can't insc, dont know about mods. if using the reg knuckles everyone is even. That way P/N or a W/Me could go in and deal the same damage as a A/N. |
