I actually got like 90% of my elite armors and weapons taking advantage of people like that. Bought up a few armbraces to start, then found people in DoA who wanted to trade their gem sets for armbraces. Ended up making 5-10e per armbrace that I bought after it was all said and done =)

When did you do this? Lol Cause it wasn't like this before...

Like I said, gemsets were 15-17k... and people were selling braces for like 40-45e...

With the exception of when armbraces were hovering right around that 45e mark, it's almost always been more profitable to sell individual gems or gem sets. I made a boat load when braces were hitting around 32e while gem sets were easily sold for 18-20k a pop.

Now with ecto and armbrace prices up the way they are...I'll never get to do it again >.<

Ectos... are back down to what they were pre nerf.... and armbraces are at 35-38 (cause people are dumb)

And yeah, it was actually like that for quite a while, the 45e... and gemsets were selling for 15-17k. that was until all the hype about the impending nerf started, THEN people started going crazy about it and prices fluxed... cause dumb people are dumb. Either way, armbraces should STILL be worth more than what they're selling at now... but no one actually pays attention to the game anymore, it seems, especially not the power traders who are apparently the ones selling them.

When I was actually playing the gem/armbrace game, though, it was at the height of SC's and ectos were 3.6-4k/ea (God, why can't we go back to that...). Patient buyers could get braces for ~35-38e during this time, though you're right, the average was 40-45e in Spamadan.

People are still dumb though, that hasn't changed ^_^
