This is a general poll concerning the preferred method of Obtaining the Cartographer Title.

As someone who's done/doing both, I'm not happy about having to take the time to do BOTH separately. I'm glad I'm going to be mapping Elona and Cantha while doing vqing.

I did them seperately for the most part... but was a pain. I love vanquishing, I hate mapping, so would always just not be arsed turning on texmod, or scraping bits while vqing, and had to go back and do it all afterwards.

I don't plan on doing them, but I kinda do both methods, just depends on my mood while vanquishing

you need an option c for both

on my war I was scared of HM and never thought I'd do vanquishing, so i got carto first... while doing nothing else.

however now I know better and I'm planning to map while VQing on my sin.

this arguement wasnt about the best way to get ur cartog title
it was whether or not it was faster/easier to do them both at the same time if ur gonna do both

if u dont wanna do VQs then dont VQ, just cartog

but theres no way that mapping and VQing separately is faster than doing them at the same time

Lol it was actually about how me and patrick spent 2-3 days per campaign and mapped each with the old shadow form in normal mode, Leg carto in 6-8 days that way ASSASSIN FTW. That was what this was all about.

And if i had to do it again, i would because vanqing takes awhile and will not be done as quick as this was. And honestly vanqing now is so much easier without having to worry about mapping that corner where there are no enemies, to map that area and scrap that corner.

Option C - Both. When I vq'd alone, I took the time to map. I rarely bothered to map when vq'ing with someone else because I didn't want to waste their time. Although, if they were also needing/wanting to map, then I would as well. Then I just went back and got the little giblets left over.
