I have been pondering on a new theme for a while. While this theme is alright, it is showing its age. I came up with a plan and started building a custom theme with graphics I put together while using the base of these forums theme. Right now I don't have an official ETA yet, but i'm shooting for the end of the week.

• Fresh theme design using CSS3 - To get the full CSS3 effect, use either FIrefox, Opera, Chome, Safari or anyother up to date browser (NOT INTERNET EXPLORER) unless IE9
  
• Enabled Global Announcements - Recent Forumotion update.
  
• Enabled Attachments - Recent Forumotion update.

Please note with the attachments, I will limite the file upload size to 250KB. The reason why is because Forumotion only allows 20MB free per forums, unless I pay them $6.95 USD for 500MB each month. Please use this ONLY for TEXT BASED files. This can be useful for uploading Guild Wars templates for team builds in a zipfile.

I didn't expect the theme to be done this soon, but I decided to ax jQuery stuff as it takes longer to program and It would probably not see much use. Tomorrow morning (Thursday April 1, 2010) I will install the new theme.

It's awesome, Reaves. My only problem, it seems to lag when I scroll. Honestly just might be my computer cause it SUCKS.

Thanks. I Fixed the lagging issue which was caused by excessive shadows. Let me know if you find anymore problems.

Love the design. One nit picky thing, though. I'm not digging the comic font. It just seems out of place to me. Not knocking the work, I LOVE the design. Maybe it's that I'm using IE (at work)?

Reaves it real nice. But does it gracefully degrade for weaker browsers. Such as phones, or even the dreaded IE. This is mainly a question as a programmer to a Programmer.

I think the buttons look good. I like em. ^_^

I use the site on my ipod touch all the time and it works fine

its great cuz u can just zoom in and the resolution is so high since the screen is small

cool theres a thread on it. reave i really like the new look I see you got that bg you tried for banner on the forum bg, i like the layer script with the dark twill-fabric like look it melds well. the comic font didnt bother me, though it is similar to the banner it is a hair off, but kind gives a flare about it. -shrug- love the neon green and stuff for buttons too.

the portal over all looks a lot cleaner with the two column look. i noticed the chat box after scrolling down. not sure if it should be higher so people are more likely to click on it or not. kinda lost in the shuffle a bit. and i attempted to get on there but i fail, anyone got the thread on chat how to get nickname or do i just follow the /commands below chat box everytime?
