| @Phil: I suggest that we add a calendar event for scheduled teaching runs, so ppl know it in advance. What is your timezone and what times would be good for you?

Please check posting dates before replying to a post. Thanks. I think 'Phil' of whom you speak is somewhere else in this alliance now, actually. He's the dude who came into our vent channel all drugged up last week and muttered nonsense 'til I moved him out.
Would you kill a kitten? No. Just like I wouldn't put my UWSC life in the hands of a drugged-up nonsensical mutterer.______________________ |

| Sorry, missed that one.
I though it was a new topic. *shame*
@Teddy: The alliance teaches SCs (they teach officers, so officers can teach their members) and I've already let them know my interests, so I might be able to help in the near future.

Please check posting dates before replying to a post. Thanks. You were replying to an April post in late September! I think 'Phil' of whom you speak is somewhere else in this alliance now, actually. Pretty sure he's the dude who came into our vent channel all drugged up last week and muttered nonsense 'til I moved him out.

Why? Is there a run being formed for it? If so, make a new thread in the Happenings forum and keep (and link to) the thread with the actual builds in the Strat & Farming forum. Are these even the most up-to-date Terraway builds? That's what I hate about PvX. Nothing seems to get updated there.______________________ |

| I'm wanting to get back into the swing of SC's as much as I can. I've missed it and haven't really done it too much since the SF nerf ages ago. |

| I can ss, sos, would like to learn emo, I have only done this a handful of times. preferrably I would like to relearn the terra positions. I used to terra before, and know the areas, just not famliar with the skele spawns, and the new builds since sf changed. I too noticed that this was an older post, so will there still be traning runs? I can donate for cons if possible. |

| I'm pretty versed in perma but would be glad to fill in and learn in any tway runs. I currently have 0 tway runs under my belt. I know the YUMway permas as well as the pathing in uw so a build and explanation is likely all i would need |

| I am watching the vids....every day....seriously. I'm even printing off maps and making notes for the terra tank positions. I'm going to learn every one of them. |

| I'm just wondering about that build the lab tank is using on that page...specifically, the use of "Conjure Nightmare"...
It provides -8 health degen...but...don't monster in UW HM have + 7 CONSTANT health regen..meaning that it only provides -1 health degen?
Why not bring Wastrel's worry? Wastrel's worry probably won't work on the skele's since they can spam bone spike, but it might work better on the keeper of souls to kill them off quicker since they won't be able to cast a spell/use a skill.
Thoughts? |

| Wastrel's Worry only works when the target doesn't cast a spell; there is nothing keeping a target from doing so while under the effect of Wastrel's. The keepers cast spells.
Normal damage is just as efficient as degen due to the fact that they regen no matter what. That being said, I usually take Illusion of Pain, Empathy/EVAS, and FH/Cry of Pain if I'm an A/Me. EVAS and FH is almost a must imo for rushing the Keepers.
Additionally, if Wastrel's only activates every 3 seconds or so, even if it does finish successfully each time, you're still dealing far less damage than you would due to the fact that you're taking up valuable casting time spamming it.
I'm sure there are other reasons, but I'm kind of a noob at UW and I'm sure you're not the first to think of this. Feel free to try Wastrel's, though, just know that Illusion of Pain and Conjure Nightmare are capable of getting 2-3 minute UWGs.
Now that I think about it, I'm not actually sure the Keepers have the inherent regen. Like I said, <---Noob. |
