ohh no, artifacting. Heres some possible problems.

1. Graphics card is overheating - try monitoring it with some utilities or find a to cool it. Usually a dusty computer is the cause.
2. Graphics drivers suck - needs updated drivers
3. Graphics card died - time for a new one


I had the same problem artifacting issue but, with my MacBook Pro. Lucky for me, their was a recall because the graphics card had a defective heat sensor.

I got same screen when i jump between the screens, its overheated graphic card ^^;

i haven't cleaned out the inside of my computer in probable a few months, and i can feel the heat radiating from the tower, so i should probably take a look at that

well i did clean it out, found that there was about a 1/8 of a inch of dust coating everything, and one of the fans had become disconnected to the case, and fallen over, so it was useless, so hopefully, that helps

LOL.. i actually cleaned mine again because of this thread, my lazer mouse has been loading slow after start up. cleaned my bad boy out and load up was much faster... guess my comp likes a little extra petting. LOL!

Yeah, I gotta clean my computer out soon... like take it outside with a can of air and clean it out. It's probably that bad. I try to keep it dusted off during the winter, but once spring hits.... all that dust is NOT going to be chillin' back in my house. It's goin' OUTSIDE. XD
