Hey White Mantle Peacekeepers: SCREW YOU!


...So I tried to go farm some Fog Nightmares for dust last night. Lo and behold, not only did I have to fight mobs of Mantle Peacekeepers on the way down (aided by Shadow and her assassin-skill-having spider, Carlotta, who for some reason joined my party when I walked out of ToA), but when I reached the Fog Nightmares those Peacekeeper bastards were already killing them off! I guess even Peacekeepers need to make consets.

In any case, until this War In Kryta shit gets resolved, there goes the goddamn Fog Nightmare farm. I'm assuming my Inferno Imp farm in Tahlmark Wilderness is out too. ANet really should've put in a goddamn way to turn this War In Kryta shit 'off' or had it only appear via some sort of triggered instance. To be perfectly honest, I'd rather have the Fog Nightmare farm intact than update notes-only storylines. As it stands now, I'm being penalized because I actually played through Prophecies and beat it. What glory!

lol, i agree. but oddly where i go to get feathers they were there but not when killian went out there, not sure if its a random spawn or something that may or may not trigger them.

im not sure i'll have to check with killian but i thought it was his monk that has beaten all campaigns that he wasnt viewing them with.. but i'll make sure when i see him tomorrow. but yea i knew that they were not there unless the game was completed cuz we been working on my dads char to get through eotn when he has time to play the game.

So... how do back issues stop you from doing work that doesn't involve physical labor? That's my question....

I mean, unless she's in the HOSPITAL for a back issue.... she should be able to sit her fat ass at a computer and do her job.

there's better places to farm dust and feathers anyway


btw for dust, farming amber wands is my favorite... an amber wand with measure to measure on it yields about 70-100 dust. and i usually get like 10-25 wands a run.

also, you could always make a char just for farming dust/feathers and have it never beat eotn or proph like said above, and considering it's normal mode that shouldnt be too hard to do. sucks to make a char just to do it, but if you wanna keep your farm alive thats your best bet.

IMO, if you aren't farming FoW for dark remains, Fog Nightmares is/was/can be again! the best drop spot. I don't mind making the extra character. I have an extra slot on my main account that I don't know what to do with right now anyways. Right now, that slot is being used by a Santa Claus Paragon.
