As I've joined a town-owning alliance (HzH, no less) I can get lockpicks at 1.2k/ea. If you want cheap lockpicks, just give me 1.2*[number of lockpicks] and I'll buy them for you and deliver them.

if I'm not mistaken lockpicks are worth 1k-1.2k/ea at least I've seen in Kamadan, so no real discount

Discount from normal merchant and most kamadan people. Most sell at 1.25 afaik

This is true in small quantities only. That's people who get 1-2 in a vq or something and sell them. If you want bulk, you need to buy like this when you can.

yeah, we have a town and 1.2k ea is pretty good. can always make 4-20k a day from just stopping in kama with 80 picks and selling for 2 mins

I see a lot of people selling like 50-100 for 1k-1.2k each in kamadan not just 1-2 keys.
