They look at chat logs and corresponding character action logs (as in you are getting points for something along with not saying anything).

Completely unsubstantiated, but someone on Guru is claiming that Players who got banned get their new accounts banned too. Apparently this guy claims he knows of banned players who have tried to buy new accounts from the in-game store but had those accounts immediately 'terminated' as well.

ANet is *NOT* fucking around, are they?

It might be people who majorly botted on more than one account. I know many people were getting IP banned, so I bet they watch for those IP's and if they sign onto an account with that IP then they automatically get that account banned. That would be my guess.

BTW, if KSMod really messes with your GW .dll files, I wouldn't trust that either, no matter if ANet says it's legal or not. Even if it isn't doing anything malicious, something like that could trigger a bot alarm.

Yeah, the only thing I ever used was texmod and a multi launch. I wonder if the GWMultiLaunch isn't good, as they only mention GWx2 (then again it was only mentioned by a player). Hmmm.

Actually I just re-read the screens (as I'm reading KBar's QQ thread about getting banned on guru) and it says MultiLaunch, which I'm guessing IS the one we use. Lol

What's funny is... that actually kinda goes against their user agreement..... if it was meant for those who are buying second accounts and having them terminated right away...
