| On several PvX builds I see a note that "you shouldn't bring your heros HP far above 500".
Why is that? Is the "only" reason for that is to make mobs target your hero instead of you? Or am I missing something?

I think that is pretty much the reason unless, I too, am missing something. Heroes have stupid AI and even with defensive skillbars can't really defend themselves properly in most cases. As a result, they will drain the energy of other Hero/Henchman healers in no time. (H/H seem to have a tendency to support their own over other players.)______________________  |
