maybe we should change it to vent req. because as chris has pointed out its really a core set of people using the vent... hell gmike isn't even in ectos and he's on more then half our guildies

I will put aside an hour or two to get the recruiting going, might use something like this:
We Farm Your [ECTOs] has REFORMED/\Vent/\Website/\Full AllyKurzick /\SC/HM/Titles/Vq PM for Details

Don't even really need to use the 'reformed' / 'back' jargon. Most people don't care where the guild came from, to be honest. Just that it's good enough for them to be happy now. The only reason why I stress the history and legacy of ECTOs in the actual recruitment ad is for documentation purposes (ie. About Us thread on our forums that we can refer to).


I'm also going to get back to recruiting in town a bit more heavily. It appears that the Guru recruitment still isn't every effective, even after the ad rework I did. I just don't think Guru is all that important to Guild Wars these days like it once was.


Definitely start pressing people to use vent though. Not so hard that they get disillusioned and leave the roster altogether, but some PM's to online roster members to try and nudge them along couldn't hurt. We REALLY need to get some guild-only runs going on, and soon. I'll try and get a contest going by the end of the weekend to get some of the newer members to register here on the forums. I also have a LOT of stuff to post on these forums (been really busy the past week or two out of game) which will (hopefully) catch their interest.
