I've never had a Derv before. Though I started one about a year ago, it was neglected. Last weekend I picked her up and made some progress. I realized that almost all the cool elite skills can easily be capped around the Sanctuary. So I capped all the elite forms. Now, let's get to the point...

I think the elite forms kick all of the elite armor's asses art-wise. Take for example the Avatar of Balthazar:



or the Avatar of Dwayna:



Aren't they awesome? Aren't they much cooler than e.g.:



I wish all the elite armors would be more detailed, like the elite forms above. Do you think different artists made them?

I absolutely LOVE the avatar of Dwayna. Unfortunately I don't seem to find myself in a situation that requires her particular bonuses

Tip for the avatars: use eternal aura to have 100% uptime of your chosen avatar

Even the hero armors look cooler than the player armors. We definitely got the short end of the stick this go-around. Hopefully there is more consistency with armors in GW2.

Im hoping that the Dervish overhaul/update Anet is doing will finally put dervs in better positions to do things like speed clears, dungeons, etc. Cant wait!!

You want too much. Dervishes are already nice runners, deal huge amounts of dmg and have powerful and spiffy elite forms. And now you want high-end gameplay for them too? Nah! :-)

Hehe, i know they can run, and look dashingly handsome in elite forms But, they could always do that. We want CHANGE. *feels like speaker on podium*
