War In Kryta Push-Through

The thread which started it: War In Kryta weapons can now be placed in the HoM

Some of us have characters who haven't completed WiK yet. (I have at least 2.) It seems that there's some interest however. The date is to be announced. I ask you to suggest dates which are good for you to do a whole push-through.


A little help:

12:00 noon in California (PST) is 3:00 PM in New York (EST), 8 PM in London (BST) and 7 PM GMT. This is not an actual time for the run, just an example!

You can submit times according to any time zone, just make sure you specify it.

Also make sure that you have a time to spare. A full WiK run takes hours. We'll do it in NM, because they're just regular quests, which don't benefit from HM and they're hard enough even in NM. Especially the last one. (The Battle for Lion's Arch)

I want in. I have like 3-4 characters that I'm pretty sure can do WiK/need to finish it. I'm on Eastern time so the NY time lol.

If we're gonna have groups doing this, it'd be nice if everyone's in the same place to start, right? My sin's just watched all the dialogues and gone into LA Keep. If everyone's got that far and picked up the 3 essential bounty quests, that would be the ideal place to sync, right?

I've only got 1 char that's halfway through WiK - I guess I'll finish that one off whenever - my para, sin, ele and mesmer are all at the start. So yeah, I'm up for doing this 4 and a half times over most of the weekend! Any time suits me, really.

Honestly, this doesn't necessarily have to be everyone joined in on the same run. If some of us have chars at a certain point, save them for someone else who also has it. If someone hasn't started on a certain char at all, start with someone. I don't think we should be like get to quest 1 or 2 or 3 before we can all start. I think it's just a matter of if that's what 2 or more people have, do it, finish it, start another WiK chain on another character with someone who also needs to start the chain.

Well I suggested that on the assumption that other people were in the same position as me - maybe played through WiK once on their main and decided not to do it again because Oppressor weapons couldn't be dedicated in the HoM. Apart from my rit, I've made no effort to go through on any other characters because I mostly don't want to be fighting Peacekeepers with level 10 henchies draining my healers' energy. If I can get at least one other person to come with me I'll gladly do them all; now that Oppressor weapons are worth more, I'm willing to do this at a scheduled time or at least make more of an effort to team up with anyone else who wants to do the same.
In any case, I wanna play through War in Kryta 4 and a half times and I'd like to not be alone so I'll join whatever teams are coinciding with me at the weekend.

still got a lot to do on my sin and all my other toons, i would be down for it.

I only have War In Kryta done on my Rit and my Monk. I have 8 characters who still need to complete it on my main account. Most of them still need to do the dialogues but have the Peacekeepers triggered in Kryta already. I'll see about getting a few of them up to the Inquisitors at least over the next couple of days.

I'm also going to regularly do the War In Kryta Wanted bounties. Today, for example, it's Greves The Overbearing which is easy as hell even in HM. He's right outside ToA past the Reed Stalker mob and down by the wooden overhang structure.
