| Please take the time to read this crucial announcement. Link and I, as well as the officers, have come to a decision. We have decided that the current SMF alliance is not the most suitable environment for the future of this guild. Throughout the last week we have taken into account many situations as well as the progress of this guild in order to make this decision. It must be understood that the leaders have decided to part from the SMF alliance with respect and dignity. We, as a guild, will leave quietly. There will be no rage quitting or spamming. Let us not stoop to any lower level than what we are. This move is a step towards a greater guild, because we all know that its the potential we have. We feel it would be best to seek out an alliance that fulfills your wants and needs. Since we did not want to delve in straight away, and wanted to retain stability, we've gone ahead to find a new alliance. We wanted to join an alliance that would have more compatibility with the goals of our members and their desires. We have been able to attain a spot in a high-end and quite active alliance. This alliance is also an incredibly stable one. This alliance participates in Urgoz, UW, FoW, DoA, HM Missions, Vanquishes and more PvE content. They also have a dedicated PvP guild within the alliance for those of you who wish for more PvP action. Though, they also participate in contests, giveaways and lotteries all within the alliance. Link and I believe that this will be an environment where all of us can thrive and build this guild up to what we want it to be. This alliance is Luxon. However, do not worry, there is a Kurzick dump-guild for all of you who wish to continue with their Kurzick title. We will readmit you right back into the guild after you dump your points. This guild will be our own, and not from an external source. The alliance that I have alluded to is Reign of Judgement. They have such a stable environment because of how they conduct themselves. While the previous alliance may be loose in how they deal with things, we have to act according to our guild image in our new home. Being a part of this guild is being a part of its image. Once we begin to settle in we must show our new alliance that they made a good decision. This a heavily troll-resistant alliance, therefore if you have any trolling do it to me in guild chat Seriously though, keep it in guild chat everyone. It is a privilege to be in such an alliance. On the other side, it is always a privilege to have the community I know in our guild. Let your privilege be known within the guild. However, when it comes to alliance relations, keep it civil We plan on making the transition at the end of this weekend. Trust that everything has been handled and set into place to make this move a smooth one. It may happen that we make the move early but that will not hinder us at all. We want everyone to enjoy their Halloween weekend, so dont worry, we have it covered |

| This is a great idea Link and Cujo. I can see the reasoning and rational behind this decision. I, personally, have not felt any affinity to this alliance and honestly they have showed now affinity to ECTOs. Much more, SMFs decision to attempt to show us how to run our guild by limiting our members is rather upsetting to a guild that has shown no disrespect, even in our decision to leave we show no disrespect.
Other than that, sad to see the change (since I am not quite a fan of change). This was quite a concise wall of Cujo as well, I enjoyed reading it. Thank you for letting us know Cujo.

| If you're needing officer alts to go and be officers to invite people in the other guild or whatever, I have one, and can be online pretty much all the time once my computer is working again. |

| Not trying to be negative, this is a serious question, but I haven't seen anything amazing about this alliance so far... very very low faction, worse than the last alliance which I thought was pretty bad in that regard, but I guess that isn't really that important, cheap lockpicks are well awesome though! I wasn't that fond of the last alliance, so that doesn't bother me, but so far this just seems like any other alliance, what makes them so great exactly? |

| As I said in another thread, the guild will always come first. If this alliance doesnt work out as well as we had hoped for us then we will look for other solutions. We put the guild first, so dont worry. |

| I agree with Cujo. Although I have not seen much of this Alliance I do believe we should give them more of a chance than a day or two. We are still new here and that could be the means for some aversion or negative appearances. Changes is difficult but if we complain about every alliance we join in 2 days soon ECTOs will find themselves without an alliance which would not be good. Nonetheless I say we give them a bit more of a chance to shine, and should they not as Cujo stated, the guild comes first. |

Never suggested we join a faction farming alliance, in fact I think that's an awful idea! But there's a fair bit in between enough to own an outpost half the time (say sitting on a steady 4-5mil) and 'faction farming'
Just the OP is gushing about how great this alliance is - and all I'm asking is: what makes them so great? I'm all for giving them a chance, but would like to know why 'we are lucky to get into this alliance' etc? Surely there must be something concrete that link & cujo have based these things on, I mean I know they're nuts and all, but yeah I'm far from complaining about the alliance, just wanting to know where this has come from. |

| I apologize if I made it seem like a grandiloquent ballroom where servants tend to our toes and fingers while we get a knob job on a golden throne. (XD) I was just stating what this alliance has been in the past and how they have presenting themselves. As far as saying we are lucky. I felt that it was a good thing to get out of such an environment as SMF because it wasnt a good place for the guild to be in the long run, whether you understand that or not. We were lucky to be able to make the transition from SMF into another alliance instead of sitting stagnant. I dont think weve been in long enough to see their true colors, its been only a few days like Blood said. I understand the feeling of getting into a new alliance and it not being up to your standards.
However, things are starting to pick up within the guild. On vent weve been talking of setting up more DoA runs and getting some builds down so we can bust them out very fast. I dont know if the alliance will be up to par, but the guild is surely starting to come back alive.
If you want to see something done, then work on it within the guild. The alliance is a resource, it may not be fully useful all of the time. Though, it will be useful. Just give everything time and things will work out. If they dont work out within the alliance specifically then we will put the guild first and think of alternatives. |

| I don't care about the change of alliance, I just wanted to know what the claims they are awesome come from. :p I recognise an old [meh] member in RoJ - Scott Ware/Scarlet Jess. He is an amazing player from memory, also recognise more old guildies from their forums. Alliance seems good so far, but I still don't feel 'lucky' to be here, I think they're equally lucky to have us. Cujo give us some credit, we're not all noobs :p |
