[2010-11-21 ONLY] Age Of Empires III Complete Collection Only $0.10 / 10 MS Points On GWFL
**** ONE-DAY-ONLY SALE! GET IT NOW OR BE LEFT IN THE COLD! ****
Microsoft relaunched Games For Windows Live a little over a week ago and ever since has been giving out good gaming deals to try and entice people to use its service. It's just like Steam or any other direct download gaming service: you buy games for your account and get to download/install them whenever you wish.
The deal for Sunday, November 21, 2010 is a real winner: Age Of Empires III Complete Collection for only $0.10 or 10 MS Points!

'Complete Collection' means this game comes with vanilla Age Of Empires III plus its two expansion packs, The War Chiefs and The Asian Dynasties. For only a dime you can't go wrong with this deal, even if you have no interest in the games at all.
You need a user account to use GWFL. The good news is that an account for GWFL is one and the same with an XBox Live Gamertag account! (Use that if you have one.) Any leftover Microsoft Points you have on your XBox Live account can be used here as well. It works good. I paid for Age III Complete with 10 of my 100 leftover MS Points, downloaded it, and installed it this morning. I already had Age III and The War Chiefs expansion but never got around to buying The Asian Dynasties. Now I have them all. AWESOME.
Download the Games For Windows Live Marketplace software here:

Once installed, look for the Age Of Empires III deal in the 'Featured Games' section and it will say $0.10 or 10 MS Points. When you pay for it (either with a credit card for $0.10 or transferring 10 MS Points) it will show up on your GWFL Marketplace's Downloads list. If you look at the details of the game you'll see it lists a Game Activation Key. Installing this game is like any other regular game. You'll have to input that key during the install.
The GWFL version of Age III Complete doesn't come with good, detailed manuals like the boxed versions do, however. If you want those manuals in .pdf format, you can go here:

Links for the manuals are in the 'Manual Downloads' section.
ENJOY!
