It's basically a version of a collectible card game with strategy elements added to it. Sounds like some sort of a cross between Magic: The Gathering and Final Fantasy: Tactics:

There will be a single-player adventure mode (probably campaigns of some sort) and a multiplayer mode. PC/Mac/smartphone/iPad/etc.) will be compatible with each other in multiplayer.

If the game is overladen with microtransactions and heavily dependent on them for long-term success, you can definitely count me out. However, it appears that anything that can be purchased (spellbooks, ie. card packs) will be able to be acquired via the in-game-earned currency as well as with actual money.

I'm staying tuned on this one.

They need to stick to Minecraft work out all bugs before they start on another game.

Sounds interesting, but i agree that he should finish up with minecraft before starting another game.
