| This is an issue that I've personally been having, and I know that Peter also experienced it at one point. Basically, when using Chrome, the preview and send buttons to make a post do absolutely nothing. When clicked, they just look as though they've been pressed but nothing actually happens, it's as though they're just empty buttons with no code linked to them. When browsing the forums in Opera, however, I can still make posts.
What's going on? |

| Test post with the latest Chrome version (v10.0.648.151) via the Post Reply button to see if I experience the same problems.
EDIT: Nope. The Preview button worked fine as well. Link, are you running any Chrome extensions? I'm using absolutely none. ______________________ |

| I just wonder if PunBB (what this current forums theme is on, as compared to phpBB2 which we used up until this theme) is the issue that is causing various problems for people? I know Peter was having problems with the ecto forum/thread markers turning pink when there were new posts, and John (Scott Ware) told me that he was having the same problems. I haven't had any issue with these forums other than the current theme feeling a bit more clunky in Firefox than I'd like. (However, shit absolutely FLIES with IE9 and Chrome.) I've spent some of my spare time working on a reworked, simpler (read: less scripts, etc.), theme for these forums that will take us back to phpBB2. Just a basic theme that is stylish with GW and ecto graphics but is simple enough to ensure the forums are zippy. Remember a couple of months ago when I said I was sick of this theme but would wait? Well, I waited. I've kind of been slacking on that reworked theme lately, as it's going to require a bunch of reworked graphics, etc. that I simply haven't had time to mess around with. I think I'll press a little harder to get it ready sooner rather than later. Hopefully that will alleviate some/all of the issues people are having. EDIT: This post was previewed and posted in Google Chrome as well. ______________________ |

| The only extensions I'm using are Adblock Plus for Chrome and the bit.ly extension. I've had both of these installed since I got Chrome though, so I'm not sure it's them that is causing the problem. |

| Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling Chrome? Keep in mind that you'll need to manually delete the Google folder in the Users folder before reinstalling (In Win7, it's located here: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google). I was having a Chrome issue where the auto-updater wasn't connecting to the Chrome server. That fixed it for me.
Maybe a reinstall will fix your issues. (Be sure to back up your bookmarks first) ______________________ |

| Reinstalled Chrome and was able to post for ~12 hours, and now I'm unable to again. Kinda slow in posting this I know but hey. I honestly have no idea what's up. |
