Please help me I don't understand how to do redstone circuits and wiki isn't helping me. I want to wire up a door for a trap to capture creepers and archers etc.

I don't think I've ever bothered with Redstone. You might have some success checking out YouTube for good Redstone tutorial vids. (I'm sure there are tons there.)

I'm equally as clueless my most complex redstone set up is an outside door.
