The continuous discounts in GW store could mean a faster release of gw2 than expected? My only reason to believe this isnt so, is that they are still updating playable content for GW. whats yours thoughts?

I would think they would be switching resources away from GWI if GWII was close at hand. I don't see them developing new content for GWI right up until GWII is released.

We all know they're gonna announce a new proff. this month. And they've said they're gonna announce big news during gamescom & pax east. So lets say all proffs are playable during gamescom & Pax.

The big news might be PvP ? Underwater Towns / Combat , etc... or THE BETA ( since the release date comes after anyway )

highly doubt we see it this year i would think they'd give us atleast 6 months to play through WoC... because they've mentioned it's going to be huge..."mini expansion" so that would have to come out within the next month or so.

First is WoC and then the Nightfall side story. I'm sure they'll release both before releasing GW2. They've spent too much time developing this "expansions" to release them with GW2 when they know for a fact that most people wont even bother playing them to go play GW2 instead. Plus, theres still a third book to be released this year and I'm pretty sure that is also based in pre-GW2 storyline, so it will probably hold the game release for a while. I really doubt they release the game this year, I do believe though, the BETA MIGHT be released by this fall. Besides, even though I'm anxious for the game to come out, I'm pretty sure my pc wont be able run it with max graphics, so as far as I'm concerned, they can take their time while I save for a better pc.

I get your point Mio but this ain't about the players, is about the developers. They don't want to waste hours and hours of work by releasing both GW beyond content and GW2 at the same time. If they do they know the only people that will play it are those that can't afford GW2. So it would be a major lost for them plus a very, VERY dumb ass move.

No offense but gw is dead I only play it now to get gwamm on ele and to keep in touch with the guild I think people are waiting more for GW2 than WoC ( inb4 its cancelled )
