| The New York Post cover is known for sensationalist headlines (it's one of the things that is so awesome about it, IMO), but this one might have taken the cake. Here is today's (ie. 2011-10-21) front cover of the New York Post. There are photos & videos of him being captured before death/after death, etc. TONS of footage exists from yesterday. All the news stations including Al-Jazeera English (they have a YouTube channel) were showing footage constantly. Basically, there's absolutely no doubt this dude's diced. What is up in the air is exactly how he came to perish (ie. step-by-step account), since at one point he was actually up and moving around under custody, albeit bloody and dazed as hell.
I read a little while ago that they were storing Gaddhafi's body in a freezer in a Libyan mall while they decide what to do re: burial. The corpse of the so-called "king of kings", the man who once gave an 8-hour (!!!) speech at a UN gathering, is being stashed away in a friggin' mall. (Insert "How the mighty have fallen" line here...)______________________ |
