Guild Wars 13 Day Holiday Event

Starting Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Noon Pacific, the celebration begins with creepy consumable items, brand-new quests, the annual Costume Brawl, and an appearance by Mad King Thorn himself on October 31st, 2011! The fun doesn't end until November 1, 2011!

Wow, this challenge mission is pretty cool! Doing it with a full guild party over here and we're having a bunch of funsies, the rewards aren't amazing though. We got like 18 tot bags for a 10 minute run

Apparently ectos drop from the challenge mission as well, as evidenced in the Guru guide thread for it.

In that thread, Andrew Patrick (an ANet dev) mentions that "The ecto drop rate is very low, and there are only ~45 monsters on the map that actually drop loot, so the number of ectos dropping in here should not negatively impact the ecto economy. "
