Nicholas The Traveler has officially RESET his position to the original spawn!

This week Nicholas is in Regent Valley collecting 3 Red Iris Flowers per gift. Yes, that is exactly the position where he originally was in with the update that put him in the game (2.5 years ago). Assuming this means the cycle has come full-circle (a safe bet), you can officially start PLANNING AHEAD for upcoming Nick weeks. I've even heard people say they are buying it up so they can power trade it back to the merch next week. Probably the dumbest way to make like 5k but whatever floats your boat.

You can also craft it, so why bother buying from the material trader?

Because it's faster... lol

The hell does that mean? New stuff? New locations? Mixed-up already-existing locations?

I thought I knew where Nicholas The Traveler was going to be in the weeks ahead, just like Chris Paul thought he knew where he'd be earlier today (with the Lakers). Maybe things still end up that way, but we'll just have to play the wait-and-see game.

My guild mate already told me that Nicholas is suspicious, because though he collects something which was already needed by him, the dialogue was different.

This week's Nick was found in Mineral Springs (collecting 3 Feathered Avicara Scalps) instead of in Traveler's Vale - which is where he'd be if the cycle merely repeated itself. Oh well. Seems ANet is using the same Nick positions/items wanted as before, but this go-around they are all mixed-up so they aren't going to appear in the same order. That's what the update was about.

Guess we'll find out soon enough if there were any new items put into the Nick gifts.

The only thing I don't get is why did they come up with the update now? It's not that they didn't know he's running out..
