Nvm figured out that XP isnt supported by dxdiag diagnostic tool. Signed up on my laptop.

I signed up. I am not optimistic of getting a beta invite due to my shitty PC specs though. Not sure I could even run GW2 with my specs, tbh. (Maybe they'll want to see feedback from archaic architecture setups on minimal settings, perhaps?) In any case, I plan to have a new PC built by the time GW2 is officially released so I'm okay with whatever.


FWIW, I used We Farm Your [ECTOs] and this forum's URL for my info, although I did state, "We Farm Your [ECTOs] (Retired)" for 'Guild'.

i wouldnt be so sure that you wont get a beta key for poor computer specs steve. Im almost positive they will give out beta keys to EVERY level of computer specs in order to get feedback from a larger spectrum other than just "elite computers". Or we should all hope

They say that because they want to make sure nothing can be leaked. Basically they want to make sure you aren't tempted to post pictures anywhere, and that no one can attempt to hack into your computer to find them.

I've heard from multiple people that they started giving out spots yesterday and I've heard of about 6 people getting into beta. Obviously i's all hearsay but I'm still checking my email constantly lol.

Well, Gaile said they weren't giving anything out until AFTER the signup was closed, so who knows. I don't know if she is just supposed to say that, or if those people are lying just because they want others to think they're in it and be jealous of them (cause you know, the e-peen size is srsbznss).

The deadline for GW2 Beta sign-ups has passed and it is now closed for new applicants. According to someone on Guru they passed 1 million sign-ups total.

Yup, they even put a video up on the GW2 page on facebook of the crew standing around watching the ticker move past the 1 million mark. I read the FAQ and they said there will be other chances to sign up in the future...
