| Amazon Digital Download Games Sale (For End Of May 2012)

Amazon is running a sale on many of their digital download games from now until around the end of May 2012. Individual sale length varies depending on the game. Digital download (DD) means that you will have to download the game from Amazon. They are also selling some variants of the games with 'Online Game Code' instead of Amazon DD, which basically means they are giving you a code to activate the game on Steam with.

| I picked up Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga (Steam 'Online Game Code' version) this morning for only $5.99.  There are some cool games available like SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition for only $4.99, Civilization IV Complete for $7.49, etc. ______________________ |

Man, fuck. that. shit.
Amazon shaft us in the UK so fucking frequently. Basically all the 1-day free kindle books seem to be US only, we have no digital download games, no access to amazon app store for android, no kindle fire..

In that NeoGAF Amazon DD Sales thread linked above, some of the Europeans are using a fake U.S. address which is allowing them to buy/access. Not really a lot of great stuff available on this sale, but it's something to keep in mind for the future. Amazon had better DD deals during last year's holidays than even Steam did.
I'm glad Divinity II: The DKS was so cheap though. That was one of the games I regretted not going in on during the X-Mas Steam sale (at 2x the price it's selling for here now, no less), and was one of the games on my Steam summer sale wishlist. Absolutely will not run on my current PC (tried the demo way back when and it's a slideshow even at lowest settings), but I am definitely looking forward to trying it out on my new PC.______________________ |
