Heres a picture I got on my phone from the show in my town in April.
Lol he was wiping his sweat with a tissue like every 5 minutes, it was in a a packed nightclub and I got a pretty good view of the show.

dont know just got this new computer, so downloading everything again, but it has what i need for gw2 if it ever comes out

Latest on GW2 (besides all the info in the GW2 forum that ANet is releasing) is that there will be a playable hands-on demo somewhere in Europe later this summer/early fall. I think it's looking pretty good for GW2 in about a year or so.

Some good changes in GW1 as well as bad during your time away. Mesmers just got a HUGE PvE buff, and there is a new War In Kryta thing going on in GW1 PvE right now. As for the bad, speed clears took a big hit... again. ANet fucked Sliver Armor up. Also, with the War In Kryta stuff comes the tradeoff of a now-defunct Fog Nightmare farm unless you roll a character who doesn't beat Prophecies or EotN. (One or the other is required to trigger the WiK mobs in Kryta who get in the way and occasionally even kill the Fogs before you get there.) Farming Ibogas with a Spirit Spammer (Plains of Jarin HM, Holdings Of Chokhin) got a lot harder now that Crippling Anguish in PvE is freakin' insane.

Definitely good enough to run GW2. Your framerates in GW1 are going to be so high it's going to feel like an entirely new game.

Windows 7? I just got Win7 myself for this old PC. Running good so far. GW1 runs about the same on this old box as it did with Windows XP.

Athlon AMD chips are good for upgrading. Most of them over the past few years have used the same socket, so no need to buy a new motherboard or anything like that. You can just get a new cpu and have it put in place of the existing cpu.
