Ok over the last couple of days Ive been doing TONS of bogroots and Ive been getting particularly annoyed by the slowness of floor #2, mainly at the two bosses. Often these can take up to 5minutes each which is a HUGE waste of time.

Bogroots bombway seeks to aleviate that through a combination of Ranger spirits and either mesmer degen+crying or elementalist bomb (unsure which would be most effective of these yet, would need to test first)

I have the idea of the builds in my head at the moment but not enough time to post or work on them this morning. Basically if you see this thread and are interested in working on a faster bogroots SC run (that would be simple enough for pugs I hope) please post saying youd be willing to help test and ill write the builds up when I get back tonight.

A bombway sounds fun. Why not something DoA-Wise. Like FoC Or VoR ? The monsters in Bogroots are al lot weaker than DoA, so lets try it. I'm at school atm so when I get home, i'l mish mash a build together

By this bombway im thinking along the lines of
1xA/R spirit layer (main use will be to get EoE up and make it through the stormcloud, im thinking along the lines of [DP][SF][EoE][Dwarvern Stab][IAU][Dark Escape][Shadow Refuge], basically your standard runner but with EoE instead of GoS)
1xA/E runner (the only build that will have GoS, standard bog runner, this runs first floor by self)
6xA/something bombers (BOOMCHICKABOOM, probs a cry bomb would be most effective)

Wouldnt FoC be more bombage xD

The 2 skills used in Redway, chrystal wave? The 100 damage, and lose all condition one.. 6 people with it, or even 2 because of the duplicate. Should be enough to kill some guys and EoE will take care of the rest.. Khabby wont be down though, maybe 1 a/n with barbs.

Isn't that pretty much they way bogroots speed clear started? Oo

Ive no idea dog, but this "bomb" I would have thought should be ALOT faster than your standard 2 silver 6 runner. I was thinking for mopping up maybe one or two guys with EBsin would be enough, but A/N is a nice idea too. Its great to see people are already giving tons of input into this and ive not even written the damn bars yet!

The way we did it with Red was pretty damn quick and we only had 4 players.
1 sliver runner/tank
1 A/P with Inspiratioanl Speach and Sin Support
1 100b
1 AoTL Necro with Barbs, MoP, Sin support, and EoE

The 100b spike is more than enough to kill the mob, but not Khabuus. However, with AoTL, Barbs and 2 copies of Sin Support, he goes down like a baby (100b spike takes him down to 1/3 or less hp).

Edit: And yea, I'm down for Bogroots all the time. Unfortunately, I never see any runs forming and can't get the support when I try to get a run started.

Well, I'm at work so I can't post the builds with codes and all that (and to be honest, the only one I have saved is the A/P build) but I can describe the gist of the build.

A/E - Standard Sliver build with Sin support. Main tank to ball up agro and run the first lvl. Really, sliver is just a back up in case something goes wrong.
A/P - Second runner. Both sins need to make the shrines for a 4 man team. Then it doesn't matter who else makes it. This sin has Inspirational Speech to cast on 100b. Basically just gets the adrenaline up.
N/R - Aura of the Lich (used at boss(es) to finish off boss after foes die), EoE, Sin Support, Barbs, MoP, Masochism (optional), other optional skills.
W/Rt - Typical 100b with Splinter weapon. Can also go W/A with Return, Deaths retreat, or Deaths charge. Splinter just adds many more copies of MoP triggers. I haven't tried with this version yet, but it should even kill Khabuus in theory.

The method is pretty much the same as any other 100b build. Tank and spank. I'm pretty sure anyone can run this build fairly successfully once shown how. The explosion is pretty neat. I'm curious if adding a Putrid Bile on the Necro build would be necessary and/or effective against Khabuus to maybe finish him off if the above doesn't.
